Marriage in Christ~~~

Yes...This post I would like to share about Marriage in Christ, which means both of the bride and groom are Christian...In my church, marriage in christ is strongly recommended by our preachers and other members...Last two days, I attended a service in Birmingham, and some members from Leicester Church are there too. After the service, Deacon's wife and I met at a kitchen and suddenly she asked:

Deacon's wife (DW): How old are you?

Me: 22 this year...

DW: Oh I see...Don't misunderstand me, I don't mean anything...

Me: (What???Misunderstanding what???) Okay....

DW: Well, I am the person in charge for Leicester's youth matchmaker so that the youth can marry in Christ...And because you are still studying, so I didn't introduce or match you with other sisters...

Me: (smile awkwardly and sweating...) Okay...

Well, from this conversation, you can know that marriage in christ is an important thing that a church must concern about...You should understand the situation at my churches in UK...I am not sure whether I had mentioned it before or not, but I tell you one more time...In UK, the youths are married at the average age of 23 or 24...Right after they have a stable job and income...The age above is the groom...Therefore, the deacon's wife was asking me my age so that she can do her job...Luckily, she doesn't know that I am going to graduate next month, because I don't want to marry so early...23 or 24? Don't be silly...

However, they have the reasons to do so, which the reason is the environment now a day...Lots of temptations out there especially western country like UK, the people are very open minded, so the churches scare the youth will be tempted and leave the church...Therefore they are encouraging the youth marry early...well, I agree at this point, but marry early also has the problem inside, which is less understanding, immaturity and so and so...Anyway, here are the benefits of marriage in Christ...

Benefits of Marriage in Christ:

1) Blessing from God

In True Jesus Church, if the couple is not our church members or haven't been baptised in our church, they are not allowed to have wedding in our church, which means they cannot get the blessing from God. Blessing from God is unique, special and different from the world's blessing. With this blessing, the couple will be blissful.

2) Same religion

If the couple have the same religion, they can go to church together and their faith will standfirm. When one of them is weak, the other one can help each other to stand up. They will not alone along the way to the heaven.

3) Save the next generation

Bible says that religion/faith is a heritage, which should be carried on to the next generation, because this heritance can save their souls.

Well, I believe there are some other benefits that I haven't mentioned...I want to marry in christ, just not that age...Anyway, I will just follow God's will, let God to decide my marriage, because I believe He will give me what He thinks is best for me...Amen...
